WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Honouring Jackie's legacy

By providing age-appropriate care and support for adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer patients aged 15 to 39.

Community
& Connection

Find support, build connections, and meet others who understand.

Cancer can feel isolating. At JAX, we help young people connect with others who truly get it.

Through events, activities, and peer connections, we help adolescents and young adults (ages 15–39) build community, share experiences, and feel supported.

JAX Events

Meet other young people in welcoming, low-pressure settings both at and outside the Cedars Cancer Centre.

Whether you’re newly diagnosed, in treatment, or adjusting to life after cancer, JAX events offer a chance to build friendships and enjoy experiences beyond cancer.

Connect, unwind,
& have fun.

No matter if you’re just starting treatment or wondering what’s around the corner, you don’t have to do it alone.

AYA Activities

A place to share, learn, and belong.

Designed specifically for young people facing cancer, our AYA activities provide opportunities to:

  • Connect with peers
  • Explore topics that matter to you
  • Gain practical tools for everyday life
From workshops and wellness activities to social gatherings and group discussions, there’s a place for you at JAX.
